What is fly ash?
Fly ash is a fine powder produced when pulverised coal is burned to generate electricity. It can be used with cement in concrete, replacing part of the cement in a suitably designed mix.
Where is it used?
Common applications include concrete for buildings and large pours, precast concrete, concrete roads and paving, and manufactured products such as concrete pipes and bricks. The appropriate material and mix depend on the application and project specifications.
Where our fly ash comes from
Our fly ash is sourced from the Tigyit coal-fired power plant in Shan State, Myanmar. MNA distributes it under the Three Dragons brand, with repackaging and bagged and bulk delivery options.
